Burnside offers more than just windows and dooors. We specialize in patio doors, siding, soffit & fascia, railings, awnings, and of course windows. Burnside features North Star windows and patio doors which come in a multitude of styles and colours. Customers even have the option of selecting an oak interior finish. This finish is made from a durable PVC laminate which is virtually indistinguishable in appearance from wood. We have been installing North Star windows for over 14 years. We truly believe they offer the best product available, and they stand by their products 100%. North Star creates every component of its windows and patio doors on site. The vinyl extrusion, glass, hardware, everything is made at their factory, so nothing is brought in from an outside vendor. This means North Star’s quality control emcompasses every piece of every product the company makes. North Star’s manufacturing process is state of the art, and they are highly flexible in their ability to modify designs according to a client’s specifications. If a customer requests specific design elements, North Star can create a window or patio door to fit. Low E glass which minimizes radiated heat loss in winter, and heat gain during summer is standard in all North Star windows. This is important not only in comfort, but also in energy savings. It also allows solar gain in the winter time enhancing warmth from the sun if you have southern exposure. The quality of workmanship and customer service before, during, and after installation are Burnside’s biggest selling points. The most important person who walks though the door is the customer! All of Burnside’s products offer home owners the convenience of low maintenance exterior products. Vinyl finishing on windows and siding has eliminated the need for painting, but still need cleaning to maintain their optimal appearance. Burnside offers: • a 5 year labour warranty • a professional, courteous staff who will take the time to answer your questions • all debris and used product is removed from your property at job completion unless you request item be left • the work area will be vacuumed after job completion • with window installation, labels are removed, windows are washed and we show you how to operate them
